Few things to take note before your screening day :
Fasting is required 10 to 12 hours before your appointment date. The purpose of fasting allows blood sugars to stabilize for more accurate blood test results for your glucose, cholesterol and triglycerides.
Drinking of plain water is allowed during your fasting period.
If your selected health screening package includes stool test, avoid iron supplements for 3 days. Collect your stool sample (about half a teaspoon) and put it in the labeled stool container provided the night before or on the morning of the appointment.
Do not take any medications for example: medicines for diabetics , hypertension, cholesterol, and supplements on your health screening day. Please prepare them and bring it along as you may take them after your blood drawn is done.
If you are not feeling well, please postpone your health screening to a later date as illness and medications (e.g. antibiotics) can affect your screening results.
Your urine specimen (sterile container provided) will be collected on screening day.
What to Bring on your screening day :
For Identification and Verification Purpose, please bring your NRIC (for Singaporean) and Passport/Employment Pass/Work Permit/Visit Pass (for Foreigners)
Health Screening registration form.
Stool Sample collected in the container provided earlier.
Dear Ladies, few things for you to take note :
Please schedule your health screening preferably few days after your last day of menstruation.
Urine, Stool and Pap smear test will not be able to carry out if you are having your menstruation as the presence of blood trace in these tests
would leads to an inaccurate result.
