Important things to take note of
after booking your Health Screening
appointment with us:
Before your screening day (for
screenings with blood test):
You are required to fast 10 to 12
hours before your appointment date
(from midnight before the day of
your Health Screening appointment).
No food or beverages are allowed
during the fast, with the exception
of plain water. Fasting allows blood
sugars to stabilize in order to
achieve more accurate blood test
results for your glucose,
cholesterol and triglycerides
levels. Please feel free to help
yourself to the light refreshments
provided once your blood has been
drawn by our nurse and/or after
completing your ultrasound abdomen
examination. The duration of your
Health Screening will last around
3-4 hours for deluxe packages, and
around 15-45 minutes for Standard,
Neighborhood and GP Packages.
If your selected health screening
package includes a stool test, avoid
iron supplements for 3 days prior to
the collection of the sample.
Collect your stool sample (about
half a teaspoon) and
put it in the labeled stool
container provided the night before
or on the morning of the
appointment.
Do not take any medication (for
example: diabetic medication,
hypertension, cholesterol, and
supplements) on your health
screening day. Please prepare them
and bring them along so that you may
take them after your blood test is
done.
If you are not feeling well, please
postpone your health screening to a
later date as illness and certain
medications (e.g. antibiotics) can
affect your screening results.
Your urine specimen (sterile
container provided) will be
collected on the screening day.
What to bring on your screening day:
For Identification and Verification
Purpose, please bring your NRIC (for
Singaporeans) or Passport/Employment
Pass/Work Permit/Visit Pass (for
Foreigners) and the
Health Screening registration form,
as well as the Stool Sample
collected in the container provided
earlier.
Dear Ladies, few things for you to
take note :
It is advisable to book your
appointment around Day 10 - 14 of
your menstrual cycle. This is about
one week after your last day of
menstruation. If you are
menstruating on the day of your
appointment, please inform the
nurses on arrival. You will not be
able to do your urine and stool
tests, as well as the Pap Smear as
the presence of blood in these tests
would produce inaccurate results.

an hour excluding waiting time.
Please bring along your jogging
attire and shoes for this test.
Should you forget, jogging shoes and
shorts are provided at our Clinic.

available.
Avoid having a heavy meal before
undergoing this test.
If you are on any heart medication,
please inform our staff / treadmill
nurse before she starts the
treadmill test.
Any heart medication has to be
stopped at least 3 days before the
treadmill test. If Doctor's advice
is needed before stopping any
medication, your treadmill
appointment can be scheduled for
another day after your Health
Screening.

of examination. There should be no
pain or discomfort caused.
